About.

Christine Gagne is a self-taught Canadian Artist and Designer. She was born in London, Ontario in 1974 and raised in the small town of Alymer, Ontario. At age 5 she moved to the city of London with her parents and 2 siblings. 20 years later, she went from a stay at home mom of her 2 wonderful sons to working stores, restaurants, factories and a nursing home where she spent her last 10 years working in Fergus, Ontario. In 2016 she has now returned to London, Ontario due to her health.

Christine has been creating unique, beautiful art for over 25 years. She uses her painting as a form of her own self therapy. The calming and serene feelings reflect in her artwork. She has witnessed many tragedies throughout her own life and finds painting as a way of coping. Her heart is made of gold as many of her paintings from her past were for loved ones who've passed on. In the past 25 years she visited Algonquin Park and developed a love for the great outdoors while studying the beautiful wildlife.

In the past she's used many mediums such as pencil, charcoal, chalk, ink, clay, water colours, oils, and her choice of medium now acrylics. You'll be pleased to see her past artwork on unique items such as feathers, leaves, rocks, shale, saws, emu eggs, wood, shells and more unique items.

After meeting and speaking with Robert Bateman in 2004, 2007 and  2015 his advice was finally accepted in return. Christine now paints on canvas and is having the time of her life doing so expressing her thoughts and creativity.

Many artists influenced and inspired her over the years such as Robert Bateman, Renoir, Monet, Ken Danby, the Group of 7 and Bob Ross.

Chistine Gagne will continue on her journey as she's now in control of her own destiny in life. Life Is Beautiful
